Anspielungen for Baroque (or Modern) Flute by German composer Hans-Martin Linde is an advanced unaccompanied flute solo.

The rediscovery of 'old music' and its interpretation with original instruments has revived the popularity of the Baroque flute. Hans-Martin Linde (born in 1930), one of the most distinguished Baroque transverse flute players, uses the special timbral charm of the wooden flute for a modern composition in the musical language of today's time. Linde understands the title in an ambiguous sense: on the one hand, this piece is about 'playing' the instrument-i.e. trying out different sound possibilities and passages. On the other hand, the composition contains 'allusions' to familiar flute pieces and memories of common 'flutistic' figures of earlier styles.
