This sonata for flute and basso continuo comes from the second part of a total of twelve sonatas comprising collection, which appeared in 1729 in London. Modern editions, such as this edition from Schott, supply a realized keyboard part for piano accompaniment in addition to the included continuo part for basso instrument; either or both may be used as accompaniment.
