Triosonate e-moll [Trio Sonata in E minor] op. 1/6
Loeillet, JB

Jean-Baptiste Loeillet of London, also known as John, was a Flemish Baroque composer, whose first cousin is Jean Baptiste Loeillet of Gant. He is also the older brother of Jacques Loeillet, another Flemish composer, and helped to popularize the transverse flute - a new instrument at the time.

This Trio Sonata, here for two flutes and piano, was originally titled sonata a 3 con due Traversa, and offers several movements in period style. A continuo part is also offered for cello or other basso instrument in place of the realized keyboard accompaniment.
