Barenreiter presents 'Vier Sonaten [Four Sonatas]' by Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged for two flutes by Cathrin Ambach.

Ambach writes about this collection, 'With Johann Sebastian Bach's four authentic flute sonatas in E minor, E major, B minor, and A major, as well as the three Sonatas in C major, G minor, and E-flat major attributed to Bach flautists have seven wonderful flute sonatas - a gem of Baroque flute literature...In order to make these Sonatas more easily experienced in teaching, even without piano or a recording playing along, I arranged the keyboard part as a second flute part in the present transcriptions. The first flute part was taken unaltered from the original text, so that Bach's original composition can be studied.'

This volume includes Sonata in E minor (BWV 1034), Sonata in E major (BWV 1035), Sonata in B minor (1030), and Sonata in A major (BWV 1032).
