Schott presents 'Flute Duets: Works from 4 Centuries for 2 Flutes.'
From the almost inexhaustible pool of flute duets, lesser-known treasures of medium difficulty were discovered for this collection in order to make them accessible to the interested flute world. The framework stretches over four centuries - starting with Telemann, Schultze, Agrell over Kuhlau, Tulou, Walckiers to modern compositions by Rorich, Genzmer, Wittrich and Schachtner. Arrangements of well-known melodies by Mozart, Beethoven and Mendelssohn by historical flutists such as Furstenau and Aultes round out the collection.
