Lombardo Music Publications presents 'Water Music Suite' by composer George Frideric Handel, arranged here for flute quartet by Ricky Lombardo. This arrangement was selected and highlighted as a finalist in the 2000 and 2001 NFA Newly Published Music Competition. 

Lombardo writes about this piece, 'These selections represent five of my favorite works from the original collection. This is something that I have wanted to arrange for a long time and have now finally completed. Although the music from this period typically does not show dynamics, articulations, or ornamentations, I have chosen to write them in for the purpose of having all musicians in the quartet doing the same thing. Those playing or performing this collection may or may not agree with my markings. That is fine. They should feel free to change or make alterations to the dynamics, articulations, ornamentations, etc to their liking. I have no objections with doing this. Hopefully, you will find this an enjoyable collection to play and perform as well as a nice addition to your quartet library. I am sure you will find a great deal of use for these arrangements and make them a part of your standard repertoire.
