The Altus /Bennett scale with its precise intonation (making it easier to play in tune) and enhanced resonance adds depth, color and flexibility to the sound. The Altus Z-Cut headjoint responds cleanly, quickly and easily (with fantastic articulation), its sound is full and open and it produces a full and rich tone in all three registers. This headjoint is well suited for a band or orchestral setting and is an excellent choice for jazz players as well.
