Six Duets Volume I
Bach, WF
International Music Company presents W.F. Bach's 'Six Duets, Vol. 1' for two flutes edited by John Wummer.
This first volume contains Duet Nos. 1-3 in E minor, G major, and E-flat major.
Wilhelm Friedemann Bach (1710-1784), eldest son of J.S. Bach and Maria Barbara Bach, was a composer during the period of transition between Baroque and Rococo styles.
These duets that are a transition between the Baroque and Classical styles are very charming in nature and equal in difficulty for both flutist. These duets would fare great in a sight-reading session for advanced flutists or to rehearse for a performance!
