The concert and pedagogical repertoire of contemporary music for flute is not so rich; therefore, the new composition of St. Petersburg composer Leonid Rezetdinov 'Dances of the salamander - fire spirits' for the solo flute should undoubtedly interest both concert flute performers and students of higher and secondary educational institutions.
