Lombardo Music Publications presents 'Renaissance for a New Millennium' for expandable flute choir by composer Ricky Lombardo.

The composer writes about this piece: "This piece is a descriptive composition written in five movements with interconnecting sections. Each section (Vistas, Regenesis, Trials and Tribulations, Renewal, and The New Frontier) musically portrays events that would take place during a new millennium. It was commissioned by the Drew University Music Department along with a grant provided by the Brannen-Cooper Fund and performed as the finale for the 7th Annual New Jersey Flute Choir Day.

"This work is very enjoyable and a great deal of fun. The premier performance was a huge success with a. flute choir of over a hundred flutists receiving a standing ovation. I hope you will have as much pleasure playing and performing this as I had creating it."
