Instrument Stands

The Bass Boost is a versatile support stand for your alto flute (both straight and curved) or bass flute, useable when sitting or standing. Height can be easily adjusted for both the shortest seats and the tallest players - with the resting cradle position ranging from two to six feet - and a motion knob allows you to control how much give the Bass Boost has horizontally to allow for slight motion when playing.

The Bass Boost can hold up to about 25 lbs without slipping, and the cradle itself has a 'grippy pad' surface to avoid slippage against the flute itself and an easy support. This new 3rd generation design of the Bass Boost is extremely light weight, weighing less than 2 pounds and includes a drawstring black carrying case for easy travel. It also includes extensions for those who need added height.

This accessory stand, replacing the popular bass flute crutch, helps reduce arm strain from the long hours of play or practice on your bass flute. Extends to 22 inches.

Blayman bases and pegs are temporarily unavailable. Please consider the Valentino line of bases and pegs. Valentino pegs are interchangeable with Blayman pegs and vice versa.

Blayman instrument pegs are made of durable wood that will not damage the finish of your instrument. The patented Vent-Peg(tm) allows air to circulate through your instrument while it is safely resting on its wooden base.

The Hercules DS562BB Alto Flute Stand with detachable peg (included) is designed for easy transportation, storage and display. With the rubber base, it provides a perfect resting place and protection for your Alto Flute.
