Daily etude practice develops musical phrasing, expression, sight-reading ability, technical facility and confidence. Second parts have been added to each etude providing opportunities for the teacher or a colleague to support and reinforce phrasing, rhythm, tone quality, intonation and style. Performance notes, composers' biographies and a glossary of terms are provided, as well as a CD recording of the etudes. This comprises recordings of the 24 etudes (tracks 1-24), a tuning pitch (track 25), followed by 24 play-along tracks of the added 2nd parts (tracks 26-49).
