The Flute in Worship, Volume 2: Easter and Lent is a collection of 7 solos for flute and piano (or keyboard), including three large medleys, for use during the holiday season. These hymns are arranged respectfully yet idiomatically for the flute by Mary Jean Simpson, and allow the player to use the technical and tonal abilities of the flute in lovely elaboration of the original melodies.
