Can I do a trial on an instrument that I wish to finance?
Yes! However, a credit card number must be given in order to trial instrument and cover any shipping expenses or issues that may arise.
Can I use the financing I am approved for in place of a credit card hold for trial flutes?
No. All trials must be set up with a credit card for the amount of the flutes. This is a requirement from our insurance company and cannot be waived. Since financing is not finalized until you sign the paperwork, it is not a valid form of collateral. If you would like a flute shipped out as a final sale, then we can ship the flute out without a credit card hold once paperwork is finalized on all ends.
How do I apply for financing?
There are several ways to apply for financing! You can apply using the application on the financing company’s website (using Merchant ID #2252) or you can apply using the application above.
What if I have poor credit or not enough credit built up and I think my application might decline?
If you have poor credit or have yet to establish any credit in your name, you will need to apply with a co-applicant for the initial application. Failing to do so will delay your application or cause a decline.
Do I need to fill out the financing application before taking flutes on trial?
We highly recommend that you fill out the application and submit it prior to setting up any trial period, although it is not required. If you wish to take a flute on trial, a hold on a credit card is still required, as the financing application/approval cannot be accepted as collateral for the trial. We apologize, but this requirement cannot be waived.
Can I apply for financing if I visit the store?
Yes, financing is available to all our of customers that are legal residents of the United States. Due to processing times for applications and sales, there are a few restrictions when it comes to in-store financing. We do need to allow several hours for financing to be approved and for all paperwork to be processed by the financing company before a flute can leave the store.
After I fill out the application, what happens next?
If you are approved for financing, the flute department will contact you via email or phone. You can also contact them by calling (972) 985-2662 or emailing at info@flute4u.com.
I have already been approved for financing and would like a copy of the contract that I signed for the loan. How do I obtain this and/or get questions answered once my instrument transaction has been finalized?
We do not have access to any loan documents due to security reasons. We merely handle the shippng of the instrument once you have finalized a loan. Anything related to the actual financing and loan documents needs to be directed to First Mutual by calling (800) 468-2255.
Can I return an instrument once I have signed and finalized loan paperwork?
Please contact our flute department if you are unhappy with your purchase for more information.
I want to special order an instrument but I need financing. How does that work?
A non-refundable deposit of 50-75% of the instrument’s price is due on a special order item in order to get the flute put into production. You are welcome to finance the remaining balance that is due prior to the flute shipping out to you, but financing is not available for the initial deposit.
Approvals are good for only 30 Days. After 30 days, you will be required to reapply.
