This is a companion book to set about practising harmonics and learn a lot about the ingredients necessary for great flute playing. It is not a book against time, it is about taking your time. It is a book about exploration, about immersing yourself into the vibration of the notes. A book to stop and listen. This book will yield fantastic results if you take your time to get the harmonics in tune. When the harmonics are out of tune, we are fighting against dissonant resulting frequencies which are not pleasant to the ear. Only if we abandon ourselves to the wonderful experience of playing the harmonics in tune, we will be able to find our best expressive and resonant sonority. Our own, unique voice.
