Curious, for its dedicatee Rampal recorded it for the French Radio and, by all accounts, regarded it very highly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBauzin's language is playfully French, and his acerbic sense of wit comes to the forefront in the first and last movements - the Allegro Vivace and the Finale leggiero. It is the 10-minute central Adagio, however, that grounds the Concerto.
