Calm intercedes in the form of Glenwood Air, a beautiful and peaceful air to which the piccolos add subtle frosting. Friday Afternoon closes the piece with a wild, happy, and driving jig, in which the exhilaration is only briefly interrupted by rush-hour traffic.
