This is a pity, for Fibich, though he died young, made equally important contributions to the emerging Czech national style with his wide range of compositions.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Poeme holds its origins in Fibich's collection Moods, Impressions and Reminiscences, containing 376 piano pieces as a sort of 'piano diary' on his love for his pupil Anezka Schulzova.
