The titles of the four pieces are \u003cem\u003eJ\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cem\u003euggling Moths\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eCobweb Threads\u003c\/em\u003e, \u003cem\u003eDream Catcher\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eHaunted Merry-go-round\u003c\/em\u003e. \u003cem\u003eJuggling Moths\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eDream Catcher\u003c\/em\u003e were originally conceived for alto flute which increases the tension between the individual movements; but they can also be played on the flute. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe poem \u003cem\u003eFluttering Night Thoughts\u003c\/em\u003e written by the composer precedes the pieces. As her other works, she uses new playing techniques which quite nicely highlight the respective moods.
