I took the liberty of contributing something of my own to the programme and dedicated the composition to the then proprietor of the distillery of my favourite Scottish whisky.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe little rhythmic game in what might be considered the third motif (bar 57), was inspired by Basque music, although I have also heard this subdivision in some Jethro Tull numbers.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe original instrumentation was flute and harp.
