Each of Selmer's new line of piccolos have been professionally set-up and adjusted at the Conn-Selmer Woodwind Factory in Elkhart, Indiana. Each piccolo has a hand-cut wave style headjoint for easy response and expressive tone, a silver-plated mechanism with carefully balanced key action, and a conical bore.
The Selmer SPC411 piccolo has a Grenadite headjoint and body. Grenadite is a proprietary blend of six different materials including Grenadilla wood, produces a darker and richer tone than ABS Resin, and is more stable from the elements than 100% Grenadilla wood.
The Selmer SPC411 Piccolo has the following standard features:
