Do you love Ian Clarke's music? That's exciting because we do, too! However, have you ever wondered how to play or teach his music? Well, question no more because Ian Clarke will explain how to approach, learn, and perform his repertoire! Please take advantage of this unique opportunity to work with a living composer on his works, which are musical staples within our flute community! Come and learn together in this exciting flute workshop that's perfect for both performers and teachers alike!

Are you NOT currently a flute choir member but would like to play with one? Then this is your perfect opportunity to play with like-minded flutists like yourself! We are organizing a fun flute choir to perform in the last segment of Saturday's workshop at 11:00 A.M.! This is open to anyone who wants to join! Please email Dr. Heidi Kay Begay at heidikaybegay@flute4u.com before 6:00 P.M. / CT on 03/29/23 to showcase your interest in this opportunity! Please include your bio and contact information. Note that a recording link is not needed for your application nor are we collecting an application fee. The piece that is scheduled for this performance is Ian Clarke's Walk Like This! Please note that this comprised group will perform Walk Like This! in the 7:00 P.M. concert. Individual parts will be emailed to you by 03/30/23. Thanks!

*Masterclass from 1:00-3:00PM featuring Ian Clarke's works and standard flute repertoire

Are you interested in performing for the notable Ian Clarke? If so, please submit your recent flute recording by 6:00 P.M. / CT on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Please submit a recording of yourself playing an Ian Clarke piece or another standard repertoire piece. (Note: do not submit orchestral excerpt recordings.) Please submit your $15.00 application fee at the same time. The recording should be uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video. Please send the YouTube link, your bio, and the musical piece's information to Dr. Heidi Kay Begay at heidikaybegay@flute4u.com. Selected performers will be notified of their acceptance by 03/22/23. If selected, please note that there is a $75.00 performer fee. Please submit that payment before 04/01/23. This payment link will be emailed to you at such time. Thanks!
