Category A 

18-30 years old

Final Live Round:

The Final Round will take place live in Tampere on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Category B

12-17 years old

Prizes:

• First Place - 1000€
• Second Place - 700€
• Third Place - 500€

Preliminary Video Round:

• Georg Philipp Telemann, Fantasie in E minor
• Charles-Mary Widor, Suite, Mvt. III

Final Video Round:

• Aaron Copland, Duo for flute and piano, Mvt. I, to be included in a 15-minute program of candidate's choice.

Category C

6-11 years old

Prizes:

• First Place - 350€
• Second Place - 150€
• Third Place - 100€ 

Preliminary Video Round:

• Maria Theresia von Paradis, Siciliano, G Major with piano or guitar accompaniment (suggested edition: arr. Klas Krantz)
• One etude for flute solo of participant's choice

Final Video Round:

• Moritz Moszkowski's Spanish Dance Op. 12 No. 2, to be included in a 10-minute program of candidate's choice.

Piccolo Competition 2022

The Piccolo Competition is open to candidates of all nationalities who are 18-30 years of age.

Prizes:

• First Place - 1500€
• Second Place - 750€
• Third Place - 500€

Preliminary Video Round:

• Daniel Dorff, Tweet for solo piccolo
• Mike Mower, Sonata for piccolo and piano, Mvts. I & II

Final Video Round:

• Antonio Vivaldi, Concerto for flautino in a minor, RV 445, to be included in a 20-minute program of candidate's choice.

Flute Lovers Competition 2022

open to flute enthusiasts of all nationalities over the age of 18 years.

Prizes:

• A flute gadget and an online lesson with international flute soloist Seiya Ueno

Preliminary Video Round:

• Astor Piazzolla, Tango Etudes (choose one)
• One solo or accompanied piece of performer's choice

Final Video Round:

• Kazuo Fukushima, Requiem for solo flute to included in a 15-minute program of candidate's choice.
