Tanze [Dances]
Schubert, F
In addition to his lieder, symphonies and sonatas, Franz Schubert also wrote more than 500 dances for piano. These dances belong to the genre of 'light' music, and occupy a special place in his works, straddling the boundaries between improvisation and works intended for publication. As Schubert did not compose much dance music for instrumental ensemble, these are automatically associated for piano. These arrangements of the piano music provide an an overview of these works for flutists.
This Barenreiter edition includes score only - no separate parts are available.
