Cases and Covers

Key Definitions:

• Student Case - typically a hard plastic case with a handle and flip type latches.
• Student French Case - typically a hard plastic case, no handle, having slide-button type latches.
• Professional Case - (Prof.) also known as a French style case, typically a wood case covered in a leather appliqué without a handle and having slide-button type latches.
• Assembled Case - constructed for use with the instrument in the fully assembled state.
