Franck, C :: 4 Pieces Breves
These charming short pieces are taken from two books of pieces 19th century Belgian composer Cesar Franck wrote for the harmonium (an instrument similar to an organ, where the sound is produced as air passes through metal reeds, usually powered by foot-operated bellows). They were written for a pupil, a village organist, to illustrate technical advice. The first piece (Dolly's Complaint) is the longest of the set, with the middle section wandering into the minor key; the second (untitled) features chromatic lines and litling, shared melodies. The third is a Song from the Creuse (an area of central France), and has a rustic feel with the time changing from 2 to 3 beats in a bar. The last piece is a simple canon in compound time.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
