Altieri Flute Wand (Extendable)
Altieri Flute Wands are the most effective way to swab the inside of an instrument to remove moisture. The design of the Wand helps clean the entire bore including the important (but often ignored) cork plate. Your Wand is made with a fabric absorbent area mounted to a plastic rod. There is no area or material which may scratch the vital bore of your instrument.
The Altieri Flute Wand is a one piece unit which is long enough to swab either the body, foot, or headjoint. The Wand fits conveniently in the flute case cover. Ideally, store the wetted Wand in an outside pocket in the case cover. This allows the moisture to evaporate without effecting the instrument.
When cleaning, the Altieri Flute Wand should be hand washed in gentle liquid dishwashing detergent and lukewarm water. Washing the fabric of the Wand helps activate the absorbency of the fabric - even on a new Wand. When soaking, make sure that the suds permeate the fabric, then rinse and air dry. Your Wand will be most absorbent when it is clean.
A screw-in extension is available to lengthen your wand so it can swab out your entire flute without needing to disassemble the instrument. Also available separately.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
