Amano, M :: Couleur et Mouvement
Amano Masamicz presents Couleur et Mouvement [Color and Movement] for flute quintet (piccolo doubling flute, 2 flutes, alto flute, and bass flute).
This work is roughly divided into two parts - the first half focusing on color, the second on the feeling of dynamism and flow. The flute is especially good at quick movements with its heightened motility, playing off the first color changes created by mixing overtones.
