The already famous Andersen studies are uniquely presented in this new edition by the prominent flute pedagogue Charles DeLaney. Professor DeLaney has expanded these etudes to include notes in the upper range of the instrument that were not available at the time these etudes were written. The edition also contains DeLaney's insights into his well-known wit and humor. Edited by Eva Amsler, the book concludes with 'DeLaney's Daily Dozen: A Practicing Guide' that take the student through scale patterns designed to reinforce the fourth octave of the flute. This is an edition that no serious student of the flute should be without.
