Although these two sonatas composed by the young Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach clearly reflect the influence of his famous father, they also herald the unconventional and strikingly expressive preclassical compositional style of CPE himself. Besides 'character' variations, Bach also wrote variations with large intervallic leaps in his minuets, thus offering flutists a chance to enjoy a delightfully iridescent play of tone colours.
These two CPE Bach Sonatas in A minor (Wq 128) and D major (Wq 131), both include realized basso continuo as a piano part (with figured bass included) and an optional part for cello.

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
