The Boosey & Hawkes Bartok Edition brings together selected highlights from the composer's works for solo piano including Romanian Folk Dances (1915) and Romanian Christmas Carols (1915) as well as pedagogical masterpieces Mikrokosmos (1926-1937) and For Children (1908-09) imaginatively arranged for two or three flutes by Hywel Davies.
Each arrangement has been carefully crafted to faithfully reflect the style and structure of Bartok's original work and brings this repertoire to a new generation of developing musicians for the very first time.
The included CD contains demonstration and minus-one tracks.
