Tiziano Bedetti presents Marsia e Apollo, a fantasia mythologic for flute and harp.
In the mythology of ancient Greece, Marsyas is considered the inventor of the flute. He was very proud of his invention and thought the sound of it was the most harmonious in the world, so he challenged Apollo to a musical competition. Apollo, who played the cither, (here commented by the harp), accepted the challenge on one condition: the winner would have had the right to treat the loser as he preferred.
A first attempt was not successful, but then Apollo invited his rival to play the flute upside down, as he was able to do with his cither. Marsyas, astonished by such perfection, lost the competition and avoided the divine punishment only by intercession of Olimpo, his father, and his transformation into a river.

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
