The Magic Flute
Berens, C
Discovered in a collection owned by the Oberlin Conservatory Library, this Potpourri Pour la Flûte de l’Opera Die Zauberflöte par Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart by C. Berens contains 25 themes from The Magic Flute. During the 19th century, arrangements of operas for flute and piano were extremely popular. However, flutists also wanted versions for solo flute so they could dazzle their friend with their playing without the help of a pianist.
