Theobald Boehm's 'Trois Duos' are adaptations of songs for two sopranos and piano accompaniment by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Franz Lachner, transformed into music for two flutes and piano. Bohm's alterations of the original consist essentially in the idiomatic transposition to the flute as well as the embellishment of the stanzas.
