Joseph Boismortier's Concerto no. 4 in B minor, Op 15, is presented here edited by Pierre Paubon. A classic of the quintet literature, the Concertos of the Op. 15 remain as charming today as they were when written.

Joseph Bodin de Boismortier was a French baroque composer who contributed greatly to the flute repertoire, with his various solos and ensembles for flutes. As is evidenced in his Six Concertos for Flute Flutes (Op. 15), Boismortier was the first French composer to use the Italian concerto form.
