Sebastiano Bon's Chicago Blues, for C flute quartet with third flute optionally doubling alto flute and fourth flute optionally doubling bass flute, is a blues piece in sol which oscillates between major and minor. Full of movements for improvisation and with interludes that can be pulled apart and re-placed elsewhere, it's a truly flexible jazz quartet.
