Boulanger, L :: D'un matin de printemps
Publisher: ALRY Publications
Editor: Novotny, Benjamin
ALRY Publications presents 'D'un matin de printemps' by Lili Boulanger, arranged here for flute choir by Benjamin Novotny.
The arranger writes about this piece, ''D’un matin de printemps' is a spirited, colorful work and serves as a companion piece to 'D’un Soir Triste;' both are built around the same thematic material. These two pieces were among the last works Boulanger notated by hand in early 1918. 'D’un matin de printemps' is a tour de force of texture and color—from its buoyant opening to its bold climaxes, veiled hues, and dreamlike haze, Boulanger crafts a gripping and evocative musical narrative.'
