International Music Company presents Johannes Brahm's Two Intermezzi, op. 118, No. 2 and No. 1 for flute and piano transcribed and edited by David Miller.
These Intermezzi are pulled from Brahms 'Six Piano Pieces' op. 118 and feature No. 2 in A Major (transcribed to D major) and No. 1 in a minor (transcribed to b minor).
'While the Opus 118 pieces share no thematic connections, Brahms audibly grouped and sequenced them with deliberate intentions. The first miniature of the set, for instance, ends triumphantly in A major, preparing a seamless transition to the much beloved Andante teneramente that follows in the same key. This tender intermezzo resembles the 'Lieder ohne Worte' of Mendelssohn, whose piano music certainly influenced Brahms.'

Sheet music, instrument purchases, and Special Order Only (SOO) merchandise are non-returnable.
For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
Defective merchandise may be exchanged for an identical item if requested within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. After that period, contact the manufacturer. Please contact us promptly about fulfillment errors.
