The Brannen Brothers 15/85 Brögger Flute is made from an alloy of 15% gold and 85% silver. This flute offers more than just a silver/gold hybrid experience. It has its own distinct character, best described as providing the ease of playing silver with the rounder, fuller body of playing gold – unusually smooth, flexible, and very responsive.
The Brannen Brothers 15/85 flute comes with the following standard specifications:
- 15/85 Brannen headjoint with a sterling silver lip plate and 14k gold riser (15/85 Lafin headjoint available for and additional cost)
- Sterling silver Brögger Mekanik™ (our pinless mechanism)
- soldered toneholes
- gizmo (on B footjoints and convertible B/C footjoints)
- Pisoni pads.
Brannen offers a B/C Convertible footjoint which is a cleverly-designed, 3-piece footjoint that can be used as either a B or a C footjoint. It is designed for the flutist who prefers a C footjoint, but sometimes needs a low B. Please call for price and availability of this footjoint or a regular C footjoint.
