Burkart Flute - Elite Sterling Silver

Starting off the Elite series is Burkart’s all sterling silver flute. With its all sterling silver features, the advanced player will enhance their professional sound with a dark, warm timbre. The sterling silver model is available in two different tubing thickness; .016 and .018. The .016 tubing thickness will help achieve a solid, warm timbre in all registers. The .018 will project a dark, round tone that will be loved by those who naturally have a strong air flow.

Specifications: Sterling Silver head joint, body and mechanism, soldered tone holes. Comes with the option of C# trill key, split E mechanism, D# roller, and key customization.  The sterling silver model provides additional head joint upgrades such as a 14k gold riser, 14k gold lip plate and riser, and engraved lip plate.

Headjoint Styles: Choose from the following headjoint styles (cuts)

S4 - This embouchure, derived from a traditional style, produces a pure, warm sound. It is noted for its flexibility in air stream direction and expressiveness, evenness in all three octaves, and effortless articulation. The stability and ease of play allow for nuances within a wide pallet of color for a sound full of brilliant richness and depth.

M2 - This unique cut is Lillian Burkart's most innovative. The air stream is quickly excited and the player achieves exceptional response and projection. The embouchure shape focuses the tone, resulting in a clear, clean, and very directed flute sound. All three octaves have a ringing resonance and a dark core. The M2 model provides an unprecedented dynamic range and powerful low register.
