Chamberlain, N
A flume is a small stream which winds its way through a ravine. This piece was written around 2003 for a flute, violin, and piano ensemble that quickly disbanded after the completion of the composition. Thirteen years later, it found its premiere by graduate students at Florida State University. Much like a flume, this piece meandered through a circuitous path until it finally found its destination.
