Chamberlain s In Cahoots was composed for flutists Dr. Mary Matthews and Matthew Angelo and premiered at the 2016 National Flute Association Convention in San Diego, California. This is not the first collaboration between the composer and these two flutists. A long history of scheming and working together has created a great friendship between the three, which is reflected in the quirky, exuberant back-and-forth and playful extended techniques in the duo.
