Keiser Classical presents 'The Last Possibilities of Light: Ritornello-Variations for Flute and Piano' by composer Donald Crockett.
The composer writes about this piece, ''The Last Possibilities of Light,' written for and dedicated to the Canadian-American virtuoso Conor Nelson, is a variation set loosely based on an elegiac melody, for those we have lost, which returns in ritornello fashion during the course of this 15 minute work. The title is a phrase from the poet Michael Ondaatje, whose poetry not infrequently sets the stage for my music. Following the initial statement of this elegy for flute alone, and between returns of the theme in various guises, the music is by turns floating, soaring, cascading, airy, and thunderous. After the final, expansive return of the elegy led by the piano, the music cascades toward the end when the flute ultimately disappears like a ghost.'

For other non-instrument merchandise, request return authorization or make an in-person return within 10 calendar days of the original invoice date. Items must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging with all contents, and accompanied by the original receipt or invoice. Electronic media must be unopened.
Shipped returns require prior authorization. Return Authorizations (RAs) are valid for 10 calendar days from issue. The RA number must appear on the package, and the return must arrive within that period.
