From the publisher, Gerard Billaudot, Eugene Damare’s 1st Polonaise for flute and piano has been beautifully transcribed for piccolo and piano by, Jean-Louis Beaumadier. This showpiece is approximately six minutes in length and intermediate-advanced in difficulty. Demare demands utmost control in all registers, embouchure flexibility, clean articulation, and breath support, as well as exceptional technical facility. 1st Polonaise is an excellent choice for any recital. Eugene Damare was a prolific 19th/20th century French composer.
