ALRY Publications presents 'L'heureux matelot (The Happy Sailor)' for wind quintet, written by Eloise Daoust.
This piece was commissioned by and dedicated to the Bridge City High School Band, Tami Goss director, for the 2023 Midwest Clinic International Band and Orchestra Conference. The work was composed for a workshop by Dr. Leroy Osmon on how to improve your top performing band or orchestra with chamber music. The workshop and first performance of 'L'heureux matelot' was December 20, 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.
