Sergio Roberto de Oliveira's Faces, for two baroque flutes (or two concert flutes), talks about love and about the differences that attract. The title is a word with same meaning in English and Portuguese, and each movement explores means of attraction, making reference with its titles (Eyes, Heart, Hands, and Dance). The compositional material of the music comes from Brazilian popular music.
