Billaudot Editions presents Fernande Decruck's Scherzo elegiaque for flute and piano. This virtuosic work is fast paces and brief, with a duration of approximately 3 minutes 30 seconds.
The work is mostly in 3 with perpetual sixteenths that keep the work moving ever forward. It includes a short, but virtuosic, cadenza, before returning to the opening material in 3. This work is best suited for the advanced player and would be wonderful as a finale or encore piece for any recital performance!
