From the publisher, Gerard Billaudot, Franck Dentresangle’s Eclipse for flute, vibraphone and percussion is a brilliant work that features a plethora of mixed meter. Eclipse utilizes the full range of the flute, yet, aside from a few technical passages, most of the difficulty comes from counting, tempo changes and ensemble collaboration. It is recommended to practice from the score and perhaps perform from the score, as well. Flutists and percussionists will love performing this piece! Franck Dentresangle is a prolific 21st century composer.
