Theodore Presser presents 'Big Sky' for flute, viola, and harp by composer Daniel Dorff.
Inspired by the expansive grandeur of the Big Sky State, Dorff's second trio for flute, viola, and harp is set in two scenic movements: "1. Montana Morning" and "2. Dancing Under the Stars." The first movement evokes the spacious view of seemingly infinite flat land and stillness, while the second movement is a succession of sparkly dances inspired by the clear nighttime sky.
