Claire Durand-Racamato presents Lumiere de Soleil, for solo piccolo.
From the composer: "As a flutist, bird-song has always fascinated me. After hearing the birds where I live in Pennsylvania, John Krell, retired piccolo soloist of the Philadelphia Ochestra, suggested that I compose a piece from their singing. Frequent piccolo conversations with my song-filled bird-friends created this composition. It is dedicated to them."
